Maybe cheaper b/c it was a growler? 12oz of Solar Eclipse is more than enough. I couldn't finish the 32oz. This isn't a good time of year for an 18% stout.

There isn't any Russian River in nyc (that I know of). Founders... the only seasonal beer that is out right now is Devil Dancer. Firestone Union Jack is available at a lot of places. The other Firestone beers are hard to find. A ton of Allagash.. pretty much anything you want. Go to the Whole Foods - Bowery.

If you want to get some hard to find beers at a bar... then go with Pony Bar, Rattle n Hum, or Ginger Man (haven't been to there). They all have beer menus online.

Anyone happen to have easy access to Three Floyds stuff? I am really digging their stuff. Robert the Bruce and Gumballhead are dam good brews. I still have Alpha King and 2009 Dark Lord to try but I am looking for some of their other stuff.

I would but I'm pretty sure you have local access to the Beers I can get. The only brewery nearby is ithaca brewery and I can get you that. I can ship some alpha king or Robert the Bruce but neither are rare

Thanks for the bar recs. Love whole foods but I was hoping someplace in nyc would have some rarer stuff

Whole Foods beer room is far and away the best beer store in nyc IMO. New beer distribution is 2nd (a few blocks from whole foods). Whole foods beer room is an entire store attached to a whole foods. not like the usual whole foods beer "section". An entire craft beer store (do a google search). Good Beer is also good. All 3 beer stores are within walking distance.

Someone severely mispriced that growler. It's $10/12oz At kuhnhenn direct.

I guess I got a good deal. I didn't even finish the 32oz. That beer was too strong for me. I ended up drinking some Ballast Point IPA. Better for the 85 degree weather.

Are there any good beer stores or bars on the Las Vegas strip? Going there with a few friends and it would be cool to try some West Coast beers.

Which version? I have all the barrel aged variations including the just released brandy da, Jackie O's makes some delicious beers and I have plenty of access to Three Floyds, I just picked up a case of GBH from the brewery this weekend for a friend of mine.
