What do you expect there annual profit is?  5mm? thats a 20x multiple of earnings.

Oh yeah I'm sure all parties involved are happy. Just saying I thought it'd be more.

But I live relatively close to Kansas City so maybe that distorts my view of the brand. It's enormous here. Goose is not, even though Chicago is closer and even now that inbev has them.

Honestly, though, I see good craft beers at gas stations a lot of the time. There are a lot of beer lovers in Dallas. We've even got a handful of local microbrews doing good stuff. Lakewood Brewing is great, especially their milk stout.

I'd disagree on CM. I don't think their beer selection is very vast at all. They seem to have more wine than beer if anything, which I should check out since I'm trying to learn more about wine.

Specs and Total Wine have very good selections it seems. They're the ones next to each other by Best Buy, right?

Was hoping you might know some very niche beer store that sells hard-to-find beers other than these mass retailers redface.gif.

Anyway, just checked out Lakewood Brewing's website and their milk stout looks DERICIOUS! Is it "The Temptress?" Can I find their beers at Specs / Total Wine?

CM has better stuff than Specs imo. Maybe not as wide but you can find all kinds of good shit there you wouldn't find at Specs.

Anyway, I know they carry Temptress at CM. Im sure they have it at Total Wine too. Don't know about Specs.

Not sure about Dallas, but the CM in Houston leaves beer on the shelves for way too long. I've seen 8 month old IPAs still out. They do tend to get most of the limited things that Spec's does though, and are less stupidly crowded when they're released, but that's probably just a Houston thing.

I don't think most retailers care about IPAs and freshness. I talked to a beer distributor the other day and I told her we would ideally like bells two hearted within a month of brew date she kept talking about how on their website they list shelf life as 6 months

Yep. It's really good. Also did it with bourbon county.

Back to fruit and beers... Don't have a lot of experience here , but Maui Brewing Co collabs always seem to hit the mark for me.

Man I love Lagunitas. Have never had a bad beer from them, they represent a significant part of my paycheck, everyone ive met that works for them is awesome, but why bother labeling their pale ale a pale ale? It's more hoppy and bitter than half the IPAs on the market.

Dale's Pale Ale is the same way. It's actually a bit overwhelming for me, and I like some pretty hoppy stuff.
