We have a Belgium beer place nearby, Cafe ØL. I'm meeting fellow Styleform member Binge today for a couple of glasses. No shortage of truly great beer anywhere in the Bay Area any more.

Is there any chance of the Founders Inspired Artist beer making it out of Michigan? I really want to try that one, but don't know if it's worth trading someone for.

Also picked up lately:

Corsendonk
Leutebok, Lentebok
Camba: Dry Stout, Ei Pi Ai
Widmer Brother's Hefeweizen
Samuel Smith's Pale Ale
Helios
5. a.m. Siant (Brewdog)
Crew: Pale Ale, IPA
BraKunstKeller: Amari, Laguna IPA
SHIPAA(newest adition to the SHIPAx-series, they all differ in the hop used, this one with Amarillo by the Kreativbrauerei Kehrwieder--they recently released a new batch of their Prototyp too)
Liberty Ail (Anchor Brewing)
Doggiestyle (Flying Dog)
Stiegl Hausbier Pale Ale Weltenbummler

and a few others.

Gotta say, the only beer I didn't enjoy was the Ebelum Elderberry Black Ale. Simply because it was heavy on the liquorice/burnt malt notes.

Been enjoying the Hitachino Real Ginger Ale lately. Kind of steep in price, but very tasty and refreshing, particularly for an 8% beer.

New Glarus Stone Soup tonight - you guys who do beer far more than I... I see a lot of talk about Lagunitas - I'm not into bitter/hoppy beer-do they do anything not overly hopped? My local has several different bottles from them.
They generally use a lot of hops in everything, the Pils isn't overly hoppy though. It's just a pretty good pilsner.

Pils, dogtown pale (hop aroma but not much bitterness), lucky 13 (bomber) and the imperial stout are all available right now and not very hoppy. The imperial stout is like a sirens song to malty goodness.

Thanks guys. Stout sounds great.

I have a hard time tasting bitter so I might not be the best person to say but lil sumpin is an excellent pale ale and wasnt that bitter if I recall
