Jester King Funk Metal. Billed as a cross between an imperial stout and a sour. It's an interesting beer. The sour comes through more than the stout, but it's a pretty good sour imo. Better than any other american sour I've tried, which I know isn't saying much. I would probably rather have a Grand Cru but it was worth checking out.

Briny, seaside flavor.  I would call this a black IPA.  Pretty Things www.oldbeers.com

Great looking label. I'm drinking an Old Numbskull tonight by myself.

Never had a bad beer from Pretty Things. I always forget about them, but they might be one of my favorite breweries.

just picked up a bottle of rogue chocolate stout and hazelnut brown nectar. Never had a chocolate stout before so I'm pretty excited. The brown nectar name piqued my interest, but I don't know what to expect.

Ommegang is apparently making Game of Thrones themed beers http://www.avclub.com/articles/hbo-releasing-line-of-game-of-thrones-beers-for-al,89968/?

I would roll my eyes at this but it's Ommegang so icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Duvel Tripel Hop. V. nice.

I also picked up some Arrogant Bastard Oaked. the last time I was looking at this at the store some dude came up and bought the last 4 4-packs at once, so I figured it must be good.

Poperings Hommel Ale. I just don't think I like Belgian Blond ales. This is supposed to be one of the best but they all taste skunky to me. Might be a storage issue.

Crispin The Saint apple cider. This was delicious. The belgian yeast gives it a wonderful banana flavor that complements the apple really nicely. Maybe the best cider I've ever had.

Founders Imperial Stout is outrageously good, me and my dad polished off the 4 pack way too quickly last night. I also picked up a bottle of de proef x hair of the dog Flanders Fred, looking forward to that.

It's 6.9% too, which isn't shabby for cider. I got myself another bottle and also a bottle of the stout yeast variety. Might pop one of those this afternoon, actually.
