I was only kidding...in my persuit of learning and understanding of anything I will always give everything I can a try. If I hadn't in wine I would have missed out on some awesome Sancerre roses! But I have to admit the term sour is a bit intimidating to me

NYCers, be on the lookout for Kuhnhenn Barrel Aged 4D. I guess anywhere from 60-100 (no one can confirm on the amount) cases of it was just sent off to the New York City area. It's fantastic. Real boozy, but I also get a lot of dessert like notes on it. caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, etc. It'll kick your ass after a couple. Sits in at 13.5%

If you can't find anything at any of these stores then you should just give up!

Thanks for this, by the way. I was at the South Loop Binny's for a beer tasting last year and it was by far the best Binny's I've been to. The one at North/Clybourn closest to where I live is just ok. I've heard from someone else that Armanetti's is a good place too.

I doubt it. Distribution is limited even in mi. The county I live in only got 30 cases that's why I'm surprised so many are going east.

Hmmm..... Gives me something to look for during my weekly beer hunt. Today I am going to buy a few more bottles of Black Gold and try to find that Founder's Old Ale.

It's not Founders it's Kuhnhenn and it's better than drinking 4 bottles of KBS at once! Send me Black Gold...
