^ did you try a glass in the taproom? delicious!!

I sure did!

I need to go there more often since I only live about 15 minutes away, problem is none of my friends drink dark beer, they all love bud/miller -_-

i'd be there all the time if i lived that close.

get them to drink the ales. i couldn't drink their heavyweights everyday either.

you going to KBS?

Drinking a TenFidy right now. Has to be on the "Top 5 Beers out of a Can" list.

Ten Fidy is great, too expensive though. This week I've had both Schaerbeekse Kriek and CBS. It's been a good week. CBS seems way overrated though, and the Kriek can't be rated high enough. Totally delicious.

nope I won't be there the day KBS comes out, I'll be flying back in from Florida that night

CBS is/was better fresh. that being said, give me 4 KBS over 1 CBS

Yeah, the Ten Fidy was maybe a little on the expensive side, but nothing crazy. I paid $30 for a Black Ops and it wasn't really all that special. Wish I could get some of the Founders stuff up here. Love their Porter and had a few KBS in the summer which were great. Anyone want to do some trades?

Shipping heavy amounts of beer UPS to Canada has got to cost a fortune.
not sure customs would like that one.

everyone needs to go find and buy curmudgeon's better half.

Na, just a few bottles. It's against the law (stupid Canadian customs) so it would have to be a small amount done covertly. When I lived overseas I shipped a few bottles back to my brother in Canada marked as glass wear and they got through.

How do you guys ship beer? I know you're not supposed to but how does everyone pack it/ship it?

Bubble wrap bottle, stick in thick cardboard tube and then lots of tape around the outside. If I'm shipping it across a border, I mark it as glass wear. So anyone up for a small trade?
