i dunno how available the half acre galactic double daisy cutter is, but dammnnn. that was one good beer. my bro who hates hops drank his half and asked for more. really aching to try some the other versions.

Galactic Double Daisy was a one-off version of a limited beer, so it probably won't be done again. I totally forgot what I sent you, but if you can get any Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious or Ithaca sours, we should talk...

Wait until cuvee the castleton comes out and ill send you a package

You had me at Cuvee...I'll make all your beer dreams come true! Also, if you come across the Ithaca LeBleu, I must have lots of it!!!

Sign me up!

Last two nights I've been on a Bruery kick. Two nights ago it was Rugbrod - which is like pumpernickel beer. Pretty tasty but I wouldn't pay the $20 they're getting for it in restaurants. Last night - 3 French Hens - this sucked. I don't know what they were going for here but the tastes were all over the place. Definitely not a fan.

No, not yet. Working on the backlog of things that I already bought. Then getting into all the trades.

Tonight - Ithica Flower Power - flowery IPA - yuck

Thomas Creek - Conduplico Immundus Monachus - dark strong belgian ale. pretty damn tasty but probably not something I'd buy again. had the most difficult to open bottle that I've ever encountered (cork and cage). I had to break out my fucking vice grips.

+1. Saw that at a new beer spot I found. $22 bones. They also had the Douze by the same people.
Got a Cantillon Gueze and Rose Gueze plus a Mikkelar barrel aged Black Hole. Stumbled onto a whole shitload of Cigar City releases too - Papaya, Winter, Marshall, Vuja, and a few more.

You guys know about brouwerj Fonteinen? They had the Oude Geuze and Schaerbeerse Kriek. Any good? Also, Malheu Brut Reserve and Dark Ale. Those bitches were $25 a pop.

Worth a 2.5 hour drive each way? Probably. I passed up on a Bruery Bourbon Barrel Coton though and now I'm angry at my stupidity.

Edit: Also, I'm probably not gonna drink the BFM beers for a while. I literally have nowhere to put my new beer purchases so I think I'll start working through them from oldest to newest.

@angel's share - frown.gif I want some

I don't think any beers is worth a 2.5 hour drive if you're going solely for the beers and then heading back. if you make a trip out of it or have some business then def yeah

fonteinen is really good. hanssens is pretty widely available and they make good stuff too. i think cantillon might be my favorite tho. lindemans cuvee renee is also surprisingly good considering how shitty their krieks and framboises etc are

dunno about malheu
