I used to drink it a lot while in Tokyo, but don't really care for it now; I don't know if it really doesn't taste the same, or if I just got used to the taste in Japan.

I've always thought Asahi and Sapporo taste differently if they were brewed in the US or Canada than the ones brewed in Japan. Perhaps it's all psychological, but it certain makes a difference to me. I was shocked recently to find that the tall canned version of Sapporo was brewed in the US. The canned version used to be only from Japan.

I had a Yuengling over the weekend - it wasn't bad. I also had a Sam Adams Summer over the weekend and thought it was pretty good. Went down good with my barbecue ribs.

I'm having this Leffe Blonde for the first time. I like it. Very smooth and slightly creamy, with a nice bitter taste at the end. And it's got a big head too.

Same here -- I liked the lemony taste.

Dude, when was the last time you had a blonde from a cup? If that ain't manly, I don't know what is.

I just tried "Arrogant Bastard Ale" by Stone Brewery. Very, very hoppy with strong malt as well. I really liked it, plus the name is just an added bonus. Enjoyed at Alamo Drafthouse while watching the Simpsons Movie.

Sadly my beer drinking days are mostly behind me now, but when I last was still drinking it, the go-to was Sleeman Honey Brown Lager:

For the heat of summer, my favourite was Upper Canada Wheat:
