I'm fairly well traveled in terms of beer and like most anything but super IPAs. Anyone have some must tries from scanning that list?

I will be there on Friday. Plans were changed recently.

Here are some of my favorites that I will check out. Definitely take note that there are other breweries that I like just as much, but to me these breweries have unique offerings at this event. Some of the others are bringing beer that is part of their core lineup.

Allagash Brewing Co. (ME)
Bear Republic Brewing Co. (CA)
Brooklyn Brewery (NY)
Cambridge Brewing Co. (MA)
Goose Island (IL)
Lagunitas Brewing Co. (CA)
McNeill's Brewery (VT)
Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project (MA)
Six Point Craft Ales (NY)
Southampton Publick House (NY)
Stone Brewing Co. (CA)
The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery (NC)
Victory Brewing Co. (PA)
Weyerbacher Brewing Co. (PA)

Dieu du ciel is probably my favorite pub. Here's another good one:

Bottled becks, peroni or stella on tap are my usual tipples.Been drinking a lot of tyskie and starpramen recently though.Molson Canadian, Colt45, Olde English 800 and if I'm in the mood for finer beers then it's Kilkenny and Guinness.

With your email address I could get you in touch with a friend that has an extra bottle.

I've been a big Rogue Dead Guy Ale fan for quite some time, can anyone tell me the difference between that and Double Dead guy?

http://www.rogue.com/beers/double-deadguy.php Do you ever find the Dead Guy to be hit and miss? Maybe its just the tapped version but its been spotty whenever I've gotten at the Yard House.

****. All the dieu d ciel stuff is incredible. Their regular brews like the abbey ale and the blonde ale are amongst the best i've had in that variety and their unique ones are really well balanced and well done unlike many experimental brews you find. The Rye with peppercorns is out of this world good

Funny you mentioned it, I was actually thinking the same exact thing last night. This is my favorite beer, and over the past few six packs I felt like it was missing something. My best guess is that it's sitting around on the shelves and not as fresh as it should be by the time I drink it.

Yep. Sometimes, its my favorite "general" beer by a mile. Sometimes, I wonder "why do I love this again?" If you try out the DDG make sure to post up a review. I'm always curious about their special editions.

Definitely, I'm going to score some on Saturday at a specialty beer store in my area.
