Glad you said that. Opened my first 2016 Mexican Cake last weekend and thought how similar it was to Tempest's Mexicake. Nice woody imperial stout but no chili heat and nothing outstanding. I was so impressed with last year's cake (top 10 for me) I bought 3 this year.
Wish I had bought some more Biscotti Break instead to be honest.
Seconded. I was there about a year ago -- and posted a brief write up here at the time -- and really enjoyed it. I even went the whole embarrassing nine yards and bought myself a t-shirt while there, and one for my wife too (who chose to take a nap at our hotel instead of venturing out). And I just recently opened one of the beers I'd brought back, and it was good. Still have another, fortunately.
I did the same exact thing, I also bought a t-shirt and would have bought a couple bottles, but didn't feel like paying the extra cash to check my bag. Figured I'll be back in Seattle in March for a wedding, so I will just have to go back then...
