They have that on tap at Cafe Saint-Ex too. Nice but I just can't drink out of the little glass they serve it in. I feel like I am using a sippy cup.

I was in the bar on top of Waterstone's in Piccadilly recently and I tried something I'd never had before, strawberry beer. I believe it was Belgian, but I can't remember the name.

Anyway I quite liked it, very fruity and refreshing.

What you had was probably a Lambic. Cantillon is a popular dry type Lambic while Lindemans makes several different off-dry ones.

I used to like Beer de Lysee Chably from Canada. My current favorite is Budowar and Medowar from Chekh Republic ,they are available in my local pubs and restaurants (I love NY).

Oktoberfest by Sam Adams is a nice change of pace from the heavier dark beers I've been drinking previously.

My fave Sam Adams is just regular Sam Adams. Preferably from the tap in Boston.

It took me a long time to learn that all that "fancy" stuff just never tastes as good to me. Sam Adams is fine though.

Probably one of my favourite beers I have had the pleasure of drinking. Another INCREDIBLE dark beer is old engine oil. (Please try this if you like *beer*)

I had Beck's and Saranac aswell and this one was my favorite. I want to try Stegmaier (A local I hear is good) and Paulaner.

You don't mean Blanche de Chambly from Unibroue, do you? Its described on the bottle as "wheat beer on lees," so I thought that might be what you meant, guessing "Lysee" is french for lees. Anyway, if so, thats a dandy. Its really light and carbonated. I like it very much. Apparently most of Unibroue's stuff is great. I want to try La Fin du Monde & Tres Pistoles

I don't have a favorite. We have a great alcohol store about the size of a grocery store with every beer/liquor imaginable. They have people that travel around the world finding beers and bringing them back to their store. I have a few I keep in stock for guests and because I know they go with certain meals but mainly I try to buy something new every week. I picked up 5 different seasonal brews today. Four of them were fall offerings and one was a winter.

I cracked open my first Magic Hat (my buddy rec'd it) to celebrate Obama and it wasn't the best but not bad at all either.

Had the Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic the other night. It was in the winter variety pack. I mist say I am not a fan of fruity beers but this was a surprising treat. Enough cranberry flavor to keep you interested but did not forget it was a beer.

Enjoyable but I still prefer the boston Lager for some reason.

I love it on tap. Something about it pleases the nose and the pallate. Great after taste.

Liberty Ale is a phenomenal beer. I drank it in copious amounts in the summer. I had Anchor Steam and was disappointed.
