The recent beer rundown in small photos:

Really liked this one. Not sure if holding on to it for a year did much, or even if that was justified, but this was good. Funky smell, oak, hops, the works:

Second try on this one. Nice, good for some of the last warm days here. Fruity, light, tart and refreshing. I definitely have enjoyed this one the most of the four or five recent versions of this beer:

Still a bit of a one trick pony for me. Lots of barrel flavor, not much else:

Wasn't that wild about this one this time around. Maybe the food didn't work with it, maybe my palate was off, maybe it was off instead:

Lastly, really interesting. The Pinot barrels worked well with the style, and it got better as it warmed up:

Good of a place to post this as any. Dos Equis has revealed the new Most Interesting Man in the World. I must admit he's not bad at all. Honestly was expecting them to cast someone a lot younger that I would hate.

I want this...I want to say I'm sitting on a Lawson's maple stout butnhave no idea what I have in my parents basement anymore. I haven't looked in over 2 years...still have duck duck gouze though.
