The Official Beer Thread - Page 705

Had a couple of glasses of Mondo's Miami Weiss White IPA yesterday on my way home - good summer beer, though the strawberry notes made it such that I could only have 2 halves, wouldn't have any more.

Really enjoyed a couple of bottles of Siren's Half Mast - 2.8% but with some good hoppy flavour.

I got a stout but don't see trillium listed anywhere on there. Was it a trillium or omnipollo bottle ?

Trillium bottle. It's called Outside the Lines

Wow, thanks for the heads up I haven't had tired hands in like 2 years. I really need a car so I can drive up.

@OmniscientCauseJust hop on Amtrak to SEPTA -- Tired Hands is in Ardmore, right? So it should be just off the R5 line (or whatever they're calling it now).

That's kind of a trek, I also don't like carrying a bunch of growlers/cabs around. My fiances sister lives like 30-45 mins away the next time we visit I'll swing by on the way home.

True. And my parents and sister are similarly located but, despite at least a year's worth of hints (and my sister even liking decent beer), they haven't made the trek yet.

Thanks for the heads up about churchkey. I'm going tomorrow with a couple of coworkers...hopefully not too packed. Not sure what draw tired hands has in this area.

Edit: went on th website and they have district distro now. Looks like beer is on the up and up here. Hits a few bars and potentially take away option at Union market...I emailed them to confirm.

Had this triple IPA (Explicit Imperial Ale) today:

Met those guys from Brewdog many years ago at my buddy's pub in San Diego. They were f'n hilarious and passionate about their fairly average (at the time) beer. Just got better from there...

Solid Belgian Ale here.

I didn't find mango, but then I'm sure that won't be as good as either rasp -or blueberry...
