Are they that much cheaper outside of CO though?..
Not really, but just saying they're pretty expensive in general

Gotcha... Aye, prices aren't friendly, especially not if you're from Belgium where sours usually cost around 3-4€/ 375cls bottle... But of course, I understand why they cost so much... And I love US' wild ales... Oak aged beers have a very special place in my heart shog[1].gif

Opened this last night. Total gusher, maybe lost half the bottle. Also, while I remember some of the last ones I had being on the sweet side, this one was totally dry.

The beer place up the street from my summer sublet has Fantôme Saison, which I'll be trying for the first time very soon.

Excellent... But tbh the main reason why I like Fantôme is that they're cheap... So it doesn't sting when you get a subpar one (which happens often enough)...

BFM 225 saison... I won't lie: it costs twice as much as Belgian saison, but it's twice as good... Fans of oak and tanines, take note!..

Some of us Americans need a trigger warning before hc4thehc talks about beer prices.

The only time I tried that √ 225 beer, I was disappointed; maybe my expectations were too high.

Another new brewery ticked. This place has the potential to be my favorite. As a bonus, it's only 14 miles from home now (10 once we move next month).

Eric The Red (India Red Ale) from Odd 13 Brewing (Lafayette, CO).
