I think the real bad sign was Jérôme bailing on the event

Apparently I'd held onto this one for a while. Pretty nice, not too sweet, tastes like burnt caramel.

That sucks. I got to meet him the other week, he's a super nice guy. There weren't many people at the event so we talked for probably 45 minutes. He said he may want to do a can conditioned IPA for Europe in the future which would be pretty awesome. I do greatly prefer √225 to Bon Chien though, it's much more balanced with the sourness.

Is bon chien worth the price? I've liked 225.

Not a Heineken fan really and find them hard to drink more than two pints without disliking the aftertaste.

I do like a good pale ale or lager though. There is a very nice South Australian ale made by Coopers. I mention this brand because they are partly brewed in the bottle. This means there is some sediment in the bottle which some don't like, but it makes for a full bodied beer that tastes like beer is supposed to imo.

IMO it's not. They make a nice stout though

Picked this up in Asheville, NC. Super tart, I was expecting a scotch ale blended with a sour, so I was disappointed in that regard. I would need a food pairing I would think to tame the acid.

Whoa... This is nice. I found this on the grocery shelves over the weekend. 11.5 ABV, and gobs of flavor.

Introductions, by the way... and prosit.

So dank. I get so excited when this shows up in the supermarket every year.
