Edit - Also because of my stride, the outer heel of my soles wear down much quicker than the other areas. Could someone suggest a solution to this? Would plastic heel taps be weird on a natural Vibram wedge sole?

You are probably doing to just deal with it.  I know that it's hard to accept if it's not your mindset, but stuff that is a little beat up looks more natural anyway.  a heel tap would be wierd, but whatever.

Does anyone know if there is anything like the mid gris, or something like a heavier sneaker, in the upcoming FW lineup?  I am looking for something that is more boot, but with sneaker elements.  I like the boots like the Virgils, but those are really more straight up boots.

I over pronate quite a bit, like you, but my Virgils have held up much better than my other boots. Dunno why. I think you'll be OK though, depending on how heavy your overpronation is. I haven't resoled mine in 2 years and probably won't need to for at least another 1.5

Incidentally, I am the same.  I think that it's the heel stabilizer.  Other boots have no stride correction.

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy my first outerwear piece; the Minie Hunting JK. This is my local stockist, but they dont have my size (3, I think):

Anyone own this piece? Where should I buy it? Anyone have any experience w HumanBehaviour? They seem to be the cheapest...

Thanks for your help. Will post fit pics when I receive the jacket.

check rakuten on yahoo japan. its a pretty basic mid-weight jacket. I sold mine, just wasn't amazing for vis. details are there. keep in mind its a true repro and theres metal hooks on inside of the jacket.

I have mine and love it. It's a simple piece, but uses fantastic moleskin. Don't pay retail for it and certainly not US/EU retail.

Probably. It'd be an odd thing to counterfit, considering how unpopular (and ugly) they are.

Really ugly

Not gonna lie I was contemplating copping for a friend and dyeing/painting the suede black. It definitely is an ugly cw though lol

Any other replacement sole recommendations? I gave in on the Patricians that were on Rakuten for the longest time since they went on sale this week. I plan on resoling them with off white(sahara?) soles instead of red and have considered the vibram 2060 since it looks pretty close, as does the 2021 but a bit thicker.

treasurehoard is legit. cantor folks just aren't that popular, and $450 for a pair that used isn't really that cheap.
