Wow, i dont think they can fix that. Unless they take the front portion apart and stitch a whole new one again. Best to email visvim direct.

Yeah I'm not too hopeful about the whole idea right now. Is visvim actually responsive to e-mails? I've heard less than great things about their customer service.

Ha! I've thought the same exact thing. My solution is following the #indigocampingtrailer tag.

Oh shiet, honestly, they look pretty nice.  Like nice nice.

Is it hard to wear bc of the black sole?

Agreed, those are beautiful. Much more eye-catching than the Black Sense version.

Resoling sand suede Virgils...any suggestions/experiences? On a Christy sole right now but wanna switch it up, increased weatherproofness is a plus. Not too familiar with different vibram soles.

Sorry to say, but they are pretty much done.  the best that can be done is to glue a canvas piece under that leather holding the two sodes  to prevent further ripping.  It won't look particularly pretty, but it really is the best that cane be done, at least according to cobblers I know.  I would just do that and embrace the wabi-sabi.

Best best would probably be the 2021 or 2060, 2021's profile is a heftier version of the 2060. Either would be better than the Christy in bad weather and both look much better imo.
