*** Visvim thread: Dissertation on a Japanese Holy Spirit *** - Page 73

nearly every pic i've seen it styled with a long sleeve under which looks good. Vis is meant to be layered.

I think 3/4 is also fine for a fall piece. It makes as much sense as a insulated vest and people wear those all the time

Legit? Seems like a decent deal for people with larger feet if it is. I personally like the nylon details on the 7 hole but this is a nice alternative for people who want a cleaner look.

The seven hole moc toe that Visvim did with Sophnet in sand, BNIB, is something I've been looking for for a while now.

Stopped by revive in Michigan.  I recently moved to Detroit from NY and this shop had a nicer selection then most.  Iris, Ascot, etc key pieces that most did not stock.  Also new 7 hole set to release thats FIL only.

I think the gentry dudes make them look good.  And I reckon the wool version is probably better than the chino fabric (more drape seems apt for a 'hakama').  Don't think they probably work well with the basic Visvim uniform (eg. virgils and a field jacket).  With the right long coat I think they'd look awesome (don't think any of my long coats is the right one sadly).  Or maybe just chore coat and sneakers.

Yeah, they're basically a roomy trouser with a waist belt and pleats that reference hakamas.  Rather than the full-on traditional style (which yohji is more true to).

I think it looks good with a short sleeve for not-so-cold nights.

15SS?

It has been a staple for several seasons and in different cuts as well.

does visvim even make size 5 sanjuro kimono jackets? and would a 4 fit a normal XL or just L?

this model was faked a lot in HK when it came out and commonly sits around on YJP auctions as a result

i could be wrong though - but generally any visvim footwear that is brand new without box or tags is already a red flag.
