that's the bal coat right?

Also that's FWK btw, though Nepenthes said there will be a men's version.

their response:

Quote:
It will be available in an Olive Poplin, Khaki Cotton Coated Linen Canvas, and a Herringbone with Dk Navy Cotton Coated Linen Canvas.

I just hope it'll be warm.

Not really, even though the measurements are similar the cinch pant is a different fit. The fatigues are baggier **********/back than the cinchs. Unfortunately I haven't handled the fatigues from this season so I can't comment on them. I've measured the pants and compared them to TBB measurements.

I'm not really sure how TBB measures but regarding the leg, rise and thigh I measured from the very bottom of the rise where the seams meet. I got the thigh to about 10.75", leg about .5 shorter and the rise about .25 shorter than TBB. When I measured the waist from the top end to end it was exactly 15.75, double that and you'll get a waist of 31.5.

Edit: Just looked at TBB and compared the size 34 (I think you're a 34?) cinch with the fatigues and you're right when it comes to that size it looks like the cinch's are .25 wider. In general I find TBB measurements to be correct, so if you're ok with a thigh of 12" I think you should be ok with the cinch pants in sz 34.

likely talking about the button shawl, not sure which pic specifically but heres afl rockin it
It's not actually, used "wrap" since it looked kind of you wrapped it, but it really was only supposed to be worn around the waist (ie it was more of a structured piece than afl's shawl)
I guess it wasn't EG then since I haven't gotten any other response, but thanks anyway

The Nepenthes tumblr had a few pics of items I hadn't seen yet:
EUW Jacket - Navy Homespun

EUW Jacket - Olive Homespun

Reversible Coat - Floral Dk Navy Cotton/Linen Coated Canvas

That reversible floral number is amazing. More here.

All look great. Curious if there'll be the EUW jacket for Men's.

if it was indeed an eg piece like you describe then maybe it could be the tablier, although I dont recall any plaid ones, there were some plaid button shawls though, but anyway heres a jp store pic next to knight rockin it

I think there also was like a shorter version of the tablier, like a waiters short waist apron or maybe it was just a folded tablier? not sure really, but cant find a pic atm

Could it just be a button shawl wrapped around the waist?

Sorry can and mama, it's neither of those either

Are you looking for the shawl that guy's wearing in his fit? He just wrapped that around his waist, btw.

That's most definitely the FW13 Windowpane button shawl. I can confirm as I have 3: navy wool, red/gray stripe, and navy windowpane.

1.5" difference on the waist is a big difference for me. I have the SS14 Fatigues size 28 / XS & it fits big, at least one size bigger.

When I look at the measurements of the AW14 pants, they seem to look smaller & I'm wondering if it's usual. I'm looking at the AW14 Ghurka in particular. I guess I'll have to stay with the smallest size, but it's not easily available.
