@Jagger_On

I'm interested in the uniform serge pants, are they stretchy at all? Or will the fabric give an inch in the waist?

I'll double check tomorrow but I don't think it's stretchy like the cuffs if that's what you mean but can't remember.

Does anyone know who's stocking this jacket?

Just wanted to note that I received my brown homespun Truman Pants in the mail today from Gentry... Gorgeous. And soooooo warm. Going to be a while before there's weather to make them wearable. I got a 30 and they fit perfectly (I wear 30 in everything except for cinch pants, which I take a 32 in).

I don't personally have any issues with itchiness from wool, but if you're thinking about picking up any of the pants in homespun fabric, it's something to ponder... you might need to wear long johns with them because they are indeed a tad itchy if you're sensitive to that.

Can you pm me a fitpic if possible? I'm mulling over the ghurka and the trumans... Thx!

Apologies for the mess and fairly terrible lighting.. Can't really see any of the details of the fabric, but at least you can get an idea of how the pants fit. Pretty slim really, a bit more so than I expected (in a good way).

Sorry if this is a noob question but does the Nepenthes store in NYC not stock everything that comes out?

I'm liking those ghurka pants at Norse and the flannel work shirt at Steven Alan. Beautiful colors.

In general, no. Nepenthes is home to many other labels such as Needles, South2West8, Rough and Tumble (and others too, can't think of them off the top of my head), they don't have enough space to display and merchandise everything by EG. Such a shame, I know as EG is the most popular label.

Thanks. I guess I had this fantasy that it was all made upstairs and they could just put whatever you wanted aside. smile.gif

I'll be getting a list together soon. Wasn't thinking I'd be shopping for fall and winter this soon but it's downright cold here in the Northeast (this week at least).

Just picked up the last chambray floral Large in north america and the e1 serge pants from forward. They have a nice return policy and ship usps to canada

Yes if you consider store credit as a form of refund then, yes it's a good policy lol. Great customer service for sure though.

Well, I guess they never mentioned how they were going to credit me if I returned the product. DAMN.

They stock more of it than anyone else, though, but only one in each size. Kind of the opposite of a J. Crew shopping experience where they have infinite replicas of everything and can always order more; NNY only has what you see, but there's a diverse selection that changes quickly during the seasonal drops.

Also, the footwear section upstairs is a lot less "fluid" than the clothing stock downstairs. I saw a pair of moccasins there and ended up purchasing them two years later; they definitely sell less and restock some models.

Well, it looks like I'll be picking up that blue and gray work shirt from Independence.

Can anyone recommend a good pant style from the AW collection that would complement it?

Many thanks.
