Engineered Garments FW 14 - Page 161

FWIW I am anti-sneaker in general and think your RL boots and whatnot will work just fine. No need to buy additional footwear just so you can match some exblog lookbook; make it your own.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. There's a user here who wears his EG with like Margiela zip ups and he makes it work amazingly. Model on Gentry wears EG with Nike Air Force 1s and it's perfect.

Hi, everyone. I'm Sean and I wear Engineered Garments.

And @in stitches – EG can do many things for many people. I'm a more canonical EG-head and am into "cheap" sneakers with spring/summer EG. Vans, New Balances – though Chucks are also 100% legit. However, cyc wid it and Alex wear it with more baller stuff and kill it 100% of the time. Very true.

Thanks yet again for the opinions and suggestions, guys.

For me it's not about trying to accomplish some look book imitation, it's about being personally committed to things that are as coherent as possible. As such, I want to make sure that I have a few pair of shoes that I know that I can wear it with these pants and other items. I don't want to be pigeonholed to only one option.

Doesn't mean I'm going to buy something right now just because of these pants, but I like to think about what my options are and what the possibilities are.

I will absorb all of the recommendations and ideas, and then decide what plan of action I would like to take. So feel free to keep the ideas flowing!

@Cototn Dockers

Thanks dude. Picked up that FW13 workshirt they had for $87 bucks shipped! Pretty stoked.

Good buy for someone: Rev sateen highland for 288 CD, Large only.

these are my favorite shoes with EG. basically their own cool versions of Vans or Rainbows. But my favorite part of EG is the surfer/prep side. I'm not really into the hunting/outdoorsy type stuff.

BTW, thanks to whoever posted the link to Woodlands today (in one of the many EG threads). I picked up the navy moleskin Bedford.

Just a heads up, NSC is doing an extra 20% off sale prices and there's still some f/w in stock:

I have no idea who Sean and Alex are tho. frown.gif

As far baller-esque boots, I was thinking and wondering if my MA+ boots would work with the fatigues and my gut says no. I think though that Schneider tops will be great with them.

Converse works well. DMs work well boot wise as well as the indispensable Trickers' smile.gif

One day I will own a pair of Trickers. I've wanted a pair for a long time, but for some reason I never get around to buying them. There's almost always something else that I want to have more. Weird.

Lol

1. Not my size.

2. Not boots.

3. Not allowed to post about ones own FS listings.

Im after a pair of the Highland Pants, in Olive Poplin, size 30

Also some advice on the fit would be great. If they fit especially slim I may well take 32.

Cheers! :D
