^ I have only seen them at Japanese stores and - as always - they max out at size M there ... Maybe somebody on here has already inquired with Nepenthes?

Any reviews on the fit of the work shirts from this season? Looking to pickup one of the flannels. Thanks!

I've got a pretty boxy build (5'7" 169lbs with a 21" chest and 17" shoulders) and I was worried getting the medium.

It fits me great. And while I haven't had much call to use it in this late summer/early fall heat wave I can surely predict it will be one of my go-to pieces in a few weeks.

Real substantial weight and just perfectly constructed.

TaN is indeed a small space. In the men's section, they carry Saturdays, Moncler, EG, perhaps the occasional other brand. They also had a few really cool/ rare NB colabs. I picked up one of the Horween ones and got really tempted by the denim 1300 they did with Cone Mills.

Re: EG, they had the Fair Isle round collar jacket, the Fair Isle vest, the banded collar shirt in houndstooth, the Spread Collar Shirt in red gun club, Andover in brown herringbone, no pants. They will get another delivery but he did not remember what they will get in that. A lot of the great white tees with the wheels/ flowers are on sale for half off and also a few of the Long Beach shorts in the Tiki fabric.

For all of you long Dayton fans. I am not sure how hard it is to get it but it appears that not may US stockiest got it. I only know of Woodlands and they indicated that it is sold out. However, as off this afternoon, Tanner still had a S left in the LA store.

Mike
Thanks for all the great notes. Who carries the Bedford that you tried on? And do they just have the Navy or Black as well?

Just browsing Silver and Gold as I'm kopping one of the subtler Needles 7 cut flannels and came across this T from AW14. Comes in four variations.

Interesting that I haven't seen it on any of the stockists pages. Maybe they're keeping it in Japan for their own reasons. I dunno. Cool idea either way.

And yes, S&G will ship to the US. My flannel will cost $15USD to ship. Not sure what kind of customs might follow but it's worth it. Just for the hell of it I'll spoiler a pic of it. Cheers.

We have this shirt in TG LA and Portland, just didn't put it online. Also, no more Daytons. A few of the Orange Knits left in Portland.

I found the workshirt sizing this season to be excellent. Fits much more like ss14's. I've got the red/blue/green flannel from aw13 and the red heavy twill from this season, and while I haven't taken size measurements, they fit differently on. Last season's is longer in the torso and arms. Some of this may be due to the fabric thickness: this season's is heavier by a good 50g (425 vs 375 on my food scale, if I remember correctly). Seriously heavy shirt.

The navy moleskin Bedford is at Tanner on Broadway in DTLA. Unsure what sizes they got/ have left though. Mohawk on Sunset in Silverlake carries the blue calvary twill. I have not come across the black yet.

Nepenthes and http://extra-nyc.com/ are the only non-Asian stock lists. I'm only blowing up my spot because I don't really know if I need two Dayton long shirts or not.

MAC in SF had the black moleskin Bedford. Fit TTS.

I also got my banded collar shirt in today (@mbaum – I think we're going to have to coordinate outfits carefully if you're ever in WA) – fit TTS despite the measurements leading me to think it might be a little big. Hoping that band on the collar softens up so it'll casually flop down.

Thanks - not getting anywhere with the extra-nyc link. Still deciding whether I could pull off a Dayton anyway (and whether it's the best way to spend the budget... too much good stuff this season).

I tried on the Dayton and simply could not pull it off. I love the pattern and the detailing but I looked like a dwarf in it... It's definitely meant for dudes on the taller side, otherwise it would have just been a $200+ layering piece. I put that money towards the orange shawl collar instead :slayer:

Extra-NYC is no longer around. Too bad, was a great shop. They (Koji) never really carried much EG in store, more of a destination for Post Overalls, probably had the largest collection in the country.

In case anyone's curious, the EG team has been the same size over the past several years at 10 people in the office. The photos of the showroom makes it look like the place is bigger than it is, but that's almost half of their entire office space.
