What a treat to get the luxe and thick AW14 look book.

I know I shouldn't get so excited. But it's so nice to have after just staring at it on a computer.

Yeah, FW14 lookbook is great to have; but um...what about pics or thoughts on the R&T shirt haha?. What are your impressions and which one did you pick up?

I just posted in the Needles thread, actually. But I got the olive hb block shirt. The fit is perfect. Got a medium and it's not too tight (thankfully). The fabric is thick but not too heavy. The pattern is unique without being flashy. And it's just a perfect piece to add to my collection. So nice. Definitely worth seeking out if you can find it. Here's a couple of pics.

I saw that. Thanks for posting and sharing. I have the LBD blue/grey shirt from Gentry on its way to me so hoping the styling and fit work for me. Shirts look cool for sure.

Which is the warmest of the following fabrics? Is anyone of them substantially thicker/warmer than the other?

Navy 20oz Melton $650
Olive Heavy Wool Melton $700
Charcoal 24oz Wool Herringbone $720
Grey/Navy Wool Fair Isle Blanket $1,200

Thanks.

Heavy wool melton and or blanket will be heaviest/warmest most likely

oh, and did anyone other store besides forward stock this fabric in a pant?

For those of you who got the 13oz herringbone bedford, can you comment on the fit and compare with the fit of other bedfords? Did you take your regular size? Thanks!

Six months is a pretty long wait for a pair of shoes. But right now I think Russell Moccasin's production time is down to about 12 weeks. At least that was what a RM worker told me a few days ago after I finally placed an order for some Sporting Chukas. I had been vacillating for ages about ordering. (It's also a bit of a pain to take your own foot measurements.) Anyway I'm glad I finally did it.

Could someone tell me how much the Denim Shirting will shrink after the first wash, please. A medium should fit me, but if there's much shrinkage I will size up. Thanks!

yeah i couldn't do 6 months. once i'm ready to cop i'll probably see if nepenthes has any left or just get a similar pair of yuketens or something.

on another note: if anyone ends up with a lookbook and doesn't want it, i'd love a copy. scanned through one at drinkwater's and it's a gorgeous shoot.

Does anyone here have the Homespun expedition jacket? I am looking for more info about the weight of it, and the fit. Tough to get proper measurements, as it seems every site I see that carries it has difference measurements for sizes large and XL. I am trying to get my hands on one, but I doubt it would fit me properly.
