Actually, I'd rather have a 993 Turbo or Turbo S, but I'm silly like that

A friend has a 97' 993 turbo, the last of the water cooled Porsche turbos. Just an aesthically pleasing and incredible car.

I knew it was one or the other, so I guess it was air cooled?

I love the 993 Turbo's, but the new GT2 is more of keep you on your toes type of car. Whereas the 993's were AWD, these are pumping out 530 horses to the rear wheels. If they're anything like the last, they should be somewhat scary to take close to the limit.

Does it look any different from the last? Looks to me like the GT2 from every other year I can remember.

Different headlights... that's the major styling difference. They went back to round for the 997.

It's based on the 997 body type, which is different than previous GT2s. Of course, the engine is very different, especially with the really cool variable vane geometry.
