Dress shoes with jeans, eh? Surely a subject which has been discussed previously yet I haven´t really found what I was looking for in those threads.
I´m a fan of the look and would like to see what kind of dress shoes posters here wear with their jeans. I´m mostly looking for inspiration as I´m about to order my first pair.
I am initially thinking about tan or dark brown wingtip oxfords or derbys. Due to my location my selection is pretty much limited to english shoes (C&J, Trickers etc.). I already own two pairs of C&J´s so finding something from their lineup would be nice because picking the right size would be easier.
Even with all the pictures of shoes, I find it hard to see which shoes would go with jeans. This is where I need your help. Post closeups of your shoes worn or just make suggestions. How do you think, for example C&J Canterbury or Finsbury wingtips or Trickers Ascot derbys would go with jeans?
All kinds of input is appreciated. However, let´s not use this thread to argue whether wearing dress shoes with jeans is appropriate in the first place, shall we.
