For sale on Ebay is a pair of John Lobb City captoe oxfords in Black Calf leather, in mint condition with pristine uppers as photographed.
The inside of the shoes are marked "City 6 1/2 EE 2466". They are UK 6 1/2 EE, which corresponds roughly to a US 7 1/2 E I believe. However, the exact measurements are listed below so double check these against your shoes.
Measurements are:
External sole length: 11 5/16" tip to heel
External sole forefoot widest part: 4" wide
Internal sole (insole) length: 10 5/8" tip to heel
Internal sole (insole) width: 4" wide at the widest part of forefoot
I bought this pair of John Lobbs before I found out that I needed an extra wide shoe, and hence have worn them about 5 times in total! There is mild wear to the soles as pictured, which are thick!
There is only one tiny scratch on the inside of the left shoe close to the heel (see 11th photo for detail). Otherwise pristine uppers without other scratches or gouges, with mild wear to soles as pictured. I took extremely good care of these shoes; the leather was polished with high end shoe creams and the shoes were always stored with shoe trees in place in the original John Lobb yellow felt pouches and boxes.
Included are the pair of beautifully shaped shoe trees by To Boot New York, as well as the original yellow felt John Lobb shoe bags and shoe box as pictured.
New retail price is around $1300 or so. Get a amazing deal on the some of the best handmade shoes ever made! I have sold two previous pairs of John Lobbs - see my feedback for satisfied buyer input.
Email with any questions. All photos listed are of the actual pair of shoes for sale.
