Hmm I seem to be having the same problem. There's a girl she leads me on and I don't think she likes me. I do my best to ignore the apparent loss in an effort to avoid misconceptions to her liking.

I'm not sure what you have said there jml90, but you ignoring her and her showing interest in you and then you giving her some attention and her loosing interest sounds to me to be the classic issue of someone only wanting what they can't have. Only way to break the cycle is to pounce on her when she is in a liking mood and show her what a cunning linuist you are, and how much you warrant her attention.
