For Sale:
NWT RLBL Drop 7 "Nigel" Single Breasted Spring/Summer Suits, 36R/40R/40S/42R, Solid Navy Sharkskin, 100% Wool

Will Ship To: Anywhere

For sale I present four wonderful NWT Spring/Summer Ralph Lauren Black Label suits in sizes 36R, 40R, 40S and 42R. These are single breasted notch lapel and made according to the specifications of the relatively new RLBL "Nigel" cut. The suit pants are also known as "Nigel" in RLBL terminology (see pictured tag). Given that this is the first time I've handled the "Nigel" cut suits I wouldn't want to jump too quickly to conclusions on the differences when compared to the "Anthony" cut. However I have noticed that the shoulders are less padded than "Anthony", and this is borne out by a slightly narrower shoulder measurement (a 40R Anthony would be 18.5" instead of 18.25"). The Nigel pants have a lower rise than the comparable Anthony pants of the same tagged size. As a result of this the waist measurement appears to be consistently larger than Anthony (intended to be worn lower than the natural waist), but with side tab adjusters allowing for personal adjustment as desired.

Made in Italy by Caruso in a lightweight 100% wool solid navy sharkskin. Similar to the charcoal sharkskin RLBL I sold last year - http://www.styleforum.net/t/335870/nwt-rlbl-38r-drop-7-single-breasted-suit-charcoal-sharkskin-100-wool. The colour is on the lighter side of navy with something of a greyish cast (only when viewed under artificial lighting). I have found that the fabric is very wrinkle resistant given what has happened since I received the suits. They arrived from my supplier all folded together in a box. Suits that have been packed in this manner usually exhibit some creasing, and these were no different. My usual remedy is to hang the suits for 2-3 weeks then, if necessary, have them pressed professionally. However this wasn't necessary with these 3 suits as the creases have fallen out naturally just from hanging in a closet.

Really a staple addition for your spring/summer business wardrobe. It's very rare indeed to find solid navy suits for sale on the forum. Even rarer for the suits to be entirely appropriate for wear during the spring/summer months, given that the jacket is half-lined only. Combined with the lightweight nature of the fabric this should help to provide a fair degree of comfort during hot weather.

All the usual styling details found on RLBL suits - precise yet subtle pick stitching on the lapel edges, pocket edges and zip front. Pants are flat front with side tab adjusters and have slanted front pockets and two back pockets with button closure.

Included with all suits is the RLBL pouch with spare buttons and matching thread. All attached photos are of the 40R suit (see spoilered photos below for the other sizes).

Price is $1100 shipped CONUS or the EU

i tried on a nigel cut this past weekend and aside from the differences between the anthony you noted (softer shoulder, lower rise), the pants are also slimmer.

Great suit and great seller.

It's a true soft shoulder model. A way better alternative to suit supply la spalla models.
