I need some ideas, SF. Sometime ago, I picked up an authentic mint RLPL XXL Pink button-down dress shirt at Goodwill -- MOP buttons, top-quality construction, right manufacturing numbers.
Thing is, I have NO idea of what to do with it. It's far too large for me to wear as is -- I'm a rail-thin size small/xs. I mostly bought it because when you come across such a high-quality garment from a equally high-quality label for what amounts to the cost of a meal at McDonald's, there's little reason not to.
I'm disinclined to resell it. I feel that clothes should be bought to be worn and well-loved. Personally, I dislike the idea of buying clothes and then listing them on Ebay incredibly marked-up. If I were to sell it, I'd sell it at a price sightly higher than what I paid for it plus shipping, preferably to someone who would do something with it.
I hoping to get some input for ideas of what to do with it other than selling it. For instance, I've been toying with the idea of taking it to my tailor to turn into a women's shirt dress as a potential gift. At the very least, I could reuse the MOP buttons.
Has anyone else come across a similar dilemma. I'd appreciate any feedback.
