Guys, Ive got a meet in which I've got to take photos and the right side of my face is still covered in red marks from acne. I'd like to conceal them or lighten the red marks up, becuse in photos the flash makes my face look extremely red and brings out any marks you couldnt see in reguar light. Im not to smart on makeup or anything like that, but I need help for this day, its important. Any suggestions?

Also, have you guys had any good results working with any solutions for your red marks? Thanks.

The cosmetics counter at a high-end department store can help you.

Photoshop works too.

If you live near a MAC cosmetics, go and have them match you in their Studio Fix concealer. To fade red after-marks from pimples, I've had success with Skin Biology copper peptide syrum, you can get it online. It's not a miracle, but it speeds up the process. Just google it for the website.

I know your pain, flash photos do me no favors too. I would suggest visiting the girls at the Clinique counter or Sephora etc. and explaining the situation to them. I'm sure they will be sympathetic and helpful. There are "men's" makeup products, but I have no experience with any of that. I'm sure they can find something that will work.

ask your mom if you can. my mom helped me out tons and it was not so embarrasing. then go to the gf, or maybe your best girl friend.

ken men
jean paul gaultier's tout beau tout propre
menaji

all are men's lines that have concealers etc. that would suit your needs if you don't want to use a women's line
i've no personal experience but some of the guys at www.menessentials.com have with the various lines and the menaji line seems to be popular as it has specific blemish concealers for men's skin in various skin tone shades

I'll try out sephora. Problem is, its not just a small blemish, it's my whole right cheek. I dont know if Menaji's concealer stick will cover a big area adn look decent. Also, How was your experience with copper peptite ts4them? Does it have any side effects, drying, how long before you saw results? Thanks!

+1. I've had very good results with MAC as well.

Try Laura Mercier's "Secret Camouflage". It's the best in the industry for covering imperfections. Each compact comes in two colors so you could customize the right tint and tone to match your skin perfectly. I use it with their primer and it's the best!

I would try Menaji as well. I've heard great things about their concealer (since it's light and not heavy as well as you can't notice one is wearing makeup).

Jean Paul Gaultier also has come out with a skin care line specifically targeted for men's make up.

Or always pose at an angle like Mariah Carey. Make-up type products may make your acne worse. Just because something says "doesn't clog pores" doesn't mean it won't clog YOUR pores. Accutane is not forever, so I wouldn't try too much until you're off the meds.
