Eating out, ugh!

We are in the middle of repairing some water damage done to our kitchen when our neighbors had a plumbing mishap. The worst part of the whole experience is having to eat out every night for almost four weeks. We generally eat out once or twice a week and really savor the time we have at home in the kitchen and at the dining table. I never realized what a burden going to restaurants every night could be.

To say nothing of all the rampant breast-feeding you encounter. It's madness.

A grill and some patio furniture could solve your problems. At least some of them.

We can't get to any of our dishes or silverware and our sink and dishwasher are all closed up. I don't feel like doing dishes in the bathroom anyway.

that sounds even worse than eating out.

I can understand that. My old kitchen was probably the size of your bathroom and I ate out for 2 years straight b/c it was such a pain to do anything in that kitchen.

Which would also rule out those dismal chain restaurants.

Perhaps The Melting Pot is in order.

Sharing a counter with a stove and a sink as your kitchen with three other guys really makes you simplify your diet. I'm doing cereal and sandwiches nearly every day, just because I've grown so used to it, and restaurant food is almost always too rich, stomachache-inducing.
