Acqua di Parma shaving soap(?)

Anyone else tried it? A little goes a long way (swirl hot wet brush in for 5 seconds - looks like nothing's really going on, but you end up w/ more than you need). Has a different, slightly more lubricating(?) feel than standard shaving soap...

I only use AdP stuff. The lotion, aftershave, talc, shaving cream and cologne (all in the Colonia scent). I used to use the deodorant but it just runs out too quickly for the price tag. Awesome stuff and scent but it's an expensive habit

Edit: If you have a source other than Bergdorf, hook a brother up

I'll have to check it out when I get back to Rome, in February. I might actually finish one of my other creams by that time!

Does talc help with smell? Hows about dryness?

I sweat like your avatar and I don't wear the cologne in the summer because I don't like the resulting smell of the alcohol/sweat mix. The talc keeps me relatively dry and also gives off a faint AdP perfume.

Do they make a shaving cream too? I was talking about the soap. Love the aftershave milk/balm, and don't mind the cologne as I find it is very 'mild' in terms of strength. Downtown, Bigelows Pharmacy stocks it, along w/ some fancypants place (Jeffries?) on W. 14th. There's a nice fragrance store on Christopher, Aedes de Venustas, where I once saw Madonna. http://www.aedes.com/home.php

Unfortunately, pricing seems pretty uniform , although Bigelows might be a couple of bucks cheaper....
