YSL suit on Gilt - quality?

Hi guys,

I was thinking of buying a Yves Saint Laurent suit on Gilt.

If anyone has bought a YSL suit on Gilt before - can you please let me know whether YSL suits from Gilt are from the following ranges:

- YSL Rive Gauche label (white label)
- YSL Pour Homme label (black label)
- Plain YSL label (white label)

I would ideally want the last one, as I have a couple of those suits already (bought direct from YSL) and know my sizing well. Definitely do not want Pour Homme, which from my understanding is the low-end range.

Thanks in advance!

Only have experience with Rive Gauche, which are/were made by Zegna. The ones I had were fantastic, really nice fabric, LOTS of handwork. Designed by Tom Ford, but not sure how they hold up against his own brand. I've read people say Rice Gauche are up there with Zegna Couture, but I've never owned anything from the later, so I don't know.

But with that said, the cuts were not for everyone. Strong shoulders, lots of waist suppression, tight and almsot bootcut trousers. Very similar to RLBL

Thanks!

Anyone else with experience of buying YSL suits on Gilt? I asked them directly but they didn't have an answer for me (call centre not at the factory etc)

yea I posted a Rive Gauche in the WIWT thread at the beginning of the year.. stronger shoulders..a lot of waist supression, tight thigh's and a boot cut on the pants.. def more for an athletic frame.. mine fits fine but I can see some old schooler's not liking it.. plus its fully canvassed with some handowrk on the colllars as well as elsewhere..never tried RLBL..but if the cut is very similar to the rive gauche then I am going to try it sometime..
