The UFO theme has been present in most of the episodes. It made an appearance in the first one, which caused the death of Home Alone kid's brother. The music choices have often been about aliens or space. The Coens used a UFO in The Man Who Wasn't There as a bizarre non-sequitur. I would not be surprised if it has no other meaning here.

I'm enjoying season 2 of Fargo much more than season 1, and season 1 was fantastic. The TV show is so much more enjoyable than the movie too.

One more eps left. I wonder what the UFO means. Dunst has unexpectedly stolen the show. She's really great!

Is your avatar from Death Note?

Berserk

I was a huge fan of it in high school. I've kind of outgrown it now, but I've had that avatar since forever and I'd feel guilty if I ever changed it.

Thanks. I've only watched the occasional anime (Attack on Titan, Death Note). If I ever want to flush a week of my life away, what should I watch next? I hear of a basketball anime that's supposed to be good?

"Kuroku's Basketball" and "Slam Dunk" are solid choices.

Oh wow, they still publish a physical TV Guide each week. Must be tough to write for a dying demographic.

EDIT - Holy ****, it's five bucks each issue!!!

Tried giving Transparent a chance, but just couldn't do it. Every character on that show is so self absorbed and annoying.

I lasted fifteen minutes into the first episode. Absolute garbage.

Finished off The Man in the High Castle yesterday. Some of the acting was a bit two dimensional, but enjoyed the series overall. Got started on Fargo last night. Looks good so far.

Transparent is pretty great. Haven't started season 2 yet though.

Just binged Jessica Jones - pretty damn solid; mostly cause the superhero aspect was pretty downplayed.

So far the rest of the Marvel stuff has been mostly popcorn. Daredevil, in comparison, could have been taken down a notch in the acrobatics category and D'Onofrio was far too 1 dimensional

May try Narcos next.
