Luke Cage > everything.

Yeah really enjoying it, saw 6 episodes yesterday and I intend to see another 2-3 tonight.

What I'm also impressed with is how different Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage all are from eachother, while still obviously being intertwined in both location, tone and style. Ridiculously excited for The Defenders :bounce2:

First episode was fantastic in my opinion

Really enjoyed the fact that they don't instantly go out of their way to explain everything, they do it later on through various conversations but the way it's presented is all relatively "normal"

Rick & Morty tribute (based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vN_PEmeKb0 ):

Couldn't agree more. I thought it was fantastic. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for more Westworld!

Ed Harris is disconcertingly rapey. But him + Hopkins? = mustCtv.

3 episodes into The Affair on showtime. Pretty good so far. Having McNulty and the hottie from Luther doesn't hurt.

I'm about 2/3 through Luke Cage. Still some cringey acting/writing at times, but the overall pacing is much better than Daredevil and Jessica Jones, both of which felt like they were treading water mid-season and rehashing the same plot beats.

Supernatural and New Girl

I finished Luke Cage. It was okay. I think I'm just over the Marvel thing. They're trying to do a realistic/plausible take on comics, I get it, but the "real" characters like the detectives come off as being cartoonish because of bad writing/acting. If those characters don't work, it kills the atmosphere.

Anyone watch The Kettering Incident? I enjoyed it but more for atmosphere and scenery than anything else. Just started Spotless looks good>very good will see

Personally, I'm super heroed out. Not sure I will do another season of Jessica Jones but I'm all in with Daredevil.

I tried watching American Oddysey but gave up after 3 episodes because the acting was so awful. I dunno how it has 3.5 stars.

New series with Billy Bob (Goliath) and Hugh Laurie (Chance)--thoughts?

Edit: Just watched E01 of Goliath. Pretty good so far!

Goliath
If you liked ep 1 you will prolly like the rest . Fun with a few lame spots. I like that its a series that tells a story with a definite conclusion, like reading a novel in every season
