What TV Series Are You Streaming Lately? - Page 34

Stranger Things is great! I just watched the first episode.

Child actors not being cringe worthy is rare. The kids in Pan's Labyrinth were great. All the kids in this are pretty good.

I love the music of the show. The show looks expensive too, which is nice.

I only watched the first episode so far. They totally nailed the whole feeling of teenage love where that boy is doing everything he can to get alone with that girl. I was the same way as a teen was rooting for him the whole time. Only period screw up I have seen so far is that teenagers did not call each other "douchebag" in the 80s.

Wynona has apparently always been crazy. Even before she was shoplifting I read that when she was not working she'd just stay in all day, order food, and go long periods of time without showering. I guess she's crazy without alcohol or drugs because I think she's aged pretty well.

Watching The Last Kingdom at the moment. Pretty cool show about England during the viking invasions.

May try Stranger Things after.

I've kind of given up on Oz :/ I'm half way through the 4th season and I think some of the story lines are gimmicky. Like McManus being fired for like 2 episodes.

New season of Bojack is really really good.

This season was really a slow burn, but I felt like it was trying to channel Breaking Bad without much success.

Wife is going to be gone for a few days, so time to cue up the stuff she doesn't want to watch. Planning on alternating Vikings season 4 with episodes of The Mighty Boosh.

Lately I've been watching "The League". These characters are awful people, and the show is super funny.

Anyone else think the season 2 finale of Bloodline was a little far out there? The show went in a completely different direction.

It took a couple of episodes to get me back into it. Overall, I enjoyed but it was certainly disjointed. The early Wayne Lowry story left me hanging. Loved the end. It'll get me to watch the next season. I always had a thing for Linda Cardllini so it's got her going for it.

Oz really jumps the shark in the later seasons, but you should at least finish 4. Maybe skip ahead then and check out the musical episode in the last season; it was pretty great.

I'm getting into Community now, pretty funny.

The amount of 80's mashups in Stranger Things is fantastic. Hopper goes from wearing his Sherrifs outfit in the first episode to eventually looking and acting like straight up Indiana Jones. Incredible well written.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
He gets whacked by the guy in the Member's Only jacket.

Picking up Orphan Black. Damn she can act.

Finished all of Justified. They rushed wrapping it up was my feeling but not too bad.

The Night Of http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2401256/ (whodunit mini(?)series.. don't read the description if you don't want to spoiler the pilot.. then again, it's kinda obvious what happens in it after a while)
The Kettering Incident http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4228802/
Both are good.

Started watching Vice Principals on HBO with Danny McBride. Has some hilarious parts, but I feel like Danny McBride only has one character he can play. It's tough to know where Kenny Powers ends and he begins.

Spun up ep1 last nacht. Still better than most comedy on TV/streaming. It's kinda like Kenny is back at that HS he always retreated to except now he's not going anywhere.
