While I don't mind the gaining popularity of football on my Facebook, the comments of people who clearly have no idea about the sport trying to seem like genuine fans of the sport irritate me.

Most of my FB friends are Indian, and it puzzles me when they change their profile pictures to the crest of Spain, Brazil, etc. The funniest are the Spain 'supporters' that got a dose of reality yesterday.

Goal was good. But Uruguay must not win. Their performance vs Costa Rica was horrible. England's vs Italy was solid. England is one of the better teams in this WC. Would be a terrible loss if they dropped out.

Plus, England is playing better so far.

its not even the half! I actually like how you guys are playing overall. Uruguay are hustling on defence, but overall a bit of a fire drill as they usually are.

Plus this cavalier attitude towards fouling as a legitimate defensive tactic will probably blow up in their face, it often does.
