Since a friend of mine had an opera premiere in Paris this weekend, I spent aa couple of days in that wondeful city. At LeCoultre I saw a most distinguished couple. He must have been around 60 and she was a couple of years younger (maybe around 50) and they still talked. Both were turned out extremly well. Their clothes, jewellery and accessoires were the finest (and most expensive) money can buy but without being flashy in the slightest. They also behaved very civilised, not drawing any attention on them whilst they were in the shop, no big gestures, no loud talk, no pretention. They left before me but when I stepped outside I saw them driving away as seen blow. Now, I can only say that these people were among the closest to true and natural style I have ever seen. Only hope remains that I will be getting even close to that when I am that age. Since the picture I took of the scene has come out quite nicely I thought I'd share my moment.
