instead of doing things to your dries things send your dries things to me
A bit too small for ya. The regular stance on this jacket cannot be worn as a SC. too roomy for my figure, only makes sense to work around what I have and make it into a staple fall piece.

(Got it for 10 dollars, Might as well experiment a bit)
Those dissaproving double periods :( I'm trying to fit in mang, chits hard haha
I worry about the welfare of your Dries jacket, jdrizzy. Send it to Synthese for safe-keeping.

Or let a lucky thrift-store find propel you beyond the dim realm of khakis + ocbds. Find some cool pics with similar jackets and emulate.

Whatever path you choose, quit screwing up the lapels.
I didn't care for the shirt choice or pants. just threw on whatever I had closest. Ah well. Appreciate the advice

Hey Ben how do you find the rokin shoes?  they look great!

The shape of them is good, but the leather is kind of ugly up close :p still good beater shoes. Would only buy on sale. There are a lot of models, though, so quality may vary, I don't know. The customer service is very helpful. I asked for a pair with soft leather and they found some.

Nice blazer! It might be a candidate for...

PSA: Next challenge is up Textures

Thanks!

That is an awesome challenge idea. I have some stuff that is way more interesting, texturally speaking, though. Will try and get a fit together for this auspicious occasion.

^ Haha, I've eaten at that place. Decent burgers, but too crowded to make it worth going during peak hours. Also, the location kinda skeeves me out. I don't think Rob ever waited on me, though.

Ugh. That moment when you thumb a post and realize you can't unthumb.

Cuffs are fine, but something not so beefy would look nicer in my humble opinion. Those cuffs look to be at least an inch and a half, maybe more. For suit pants that just seems like an inch too much.

2 inches for cuffs is where it's at.

I, for one, lament this bowdlerized thread! :redx:

Not really. But I did want to use "bowdlerized"

No, this is not a new thing. When a mod, specifically the mod who is the owner of this site, says that something is not to be done, it's not to be done. Period.

Yes, pot shots are taken all the time, but LA Guy made it very clear as to why in this circumstance it was not to be done. I would think that at the very least you could adhere to what he says.

Real classy with the Holocaust reference. Not at all demeaning to people that have had to actually wear a yellow star.

Lastly, this topic is officially over. Let's move on back to clothing.

Do you know how many people my family lost in the Holocaust? A lot. It does not mean it can never be mentioned.

OK, so to confirm: this is only for potshots between a certain member who shall go unnamed, and myself, correct? If so, I think the Yellow Star reference warrants a round of applause.
