Calves on point for summer

Shorts feel a bit big compared to everything else? (/shoes a bit slim, would be cool with some chunky high-tops)
But I really think the fit would benefit from a less slim tee (dropped/wider shoulders, shoulder-wide body, maybe slightly longer body, and in a non-drapey firm/crisp cotton)

"Coincidentally" the exact same kind of tee I'm looking for smile.gif

Looks comfy, I'd ditch the socks, not for fashion reasons - just like the breeze on my ankles

The big shorts to slim tee was a deliberate choice for the look.

But yeah, looking at it now the tee could be a bit bigger. The AA viscose tee's are a bit funny in the way that when you first take them out of the washer, they've always shrunk, but they stretch out in width and length as you wear them over the day.

The shoulders are actually dropped. I think drapy-er tee's look better on people who lifts weights, but that could just be me.

Wore socks indoors cus my floor was dirty and couldn't be bothered to take them off. Its also part of the look I was going for, but I know many guys don't like it. From RO SS14:

Thanks anyway :)

Yeah I realized that might be the case, and I do something similar myself sometimes, but I feel that in that case you need some chunkier shoes (B&N hi's in my case)

SPRING BREAK 2014

For me, our trip began the day before our first flight (Wednesday). I had to drive our dog 350 miles north to stay with my parents while we were away. I left around noon, arrived around 5, had dinner with my parents and got everything set up, then turned around at 10pm and hit the road to get back to LA in time for our first flight, which was at 7am. I picked up my wife’s brother coming back in to LA and took a quick shower before he dropped us off at the airport. Our first flight took us from LA to New York’s JFK airport, and while I was pretty tired, I somehow didn’t manage to sleep much on the flight.

At JFK we met up with our friends who were joining us on the trip, and boarded an Emirates flight to Milan. On this flight, I slept.

Arriving in Milan at noon on Friday, we picked up our car (a Lancia Delta 1.6 diesel) and set off for Regensburg, Germany. It is a little over a 6 hour drive, and after waiting for bags and waiting in line at the Avis counter, we didn’t get going until close to 2pm. The drive was fantastic, though the rest of the car mostly slept the whole time.

We took the Brenner pass and stopped in Innsbruck, Austria for dinner. We picked up one more person in Munich and finally made it to Regensburg around 10pm. So on Friday night I got to sleep in a bed for the first time since Tuesday night.

The next day was the Dult Festival that happens twice a year in Regensburg. The photos pretty much speak for themselves but I should point out that, best as we could tell, we were the only Americans in the whole place.

On Sunday, after brunch, we hit the road again and drove to Davos, Switzerland. We had only a one-night stay, and just a short time in the morning to go on a hike before heading on to Lake Como.

Took this train thing up the side of the mountain to go on a waterfall hike. The train was kind of like "Angel's Flight" here in LA, except it worked, and was nice.

Our place on Lake Como was an airbnb in Lézzeno, a small village just south of Bellagio (about a 5 minute bus ride away). There were two markets and two bars, which might be open whenever the owners felt like it, and two restaurants, all within walking distance. It was pretty much perfect.

unsure of how well this fit really worked. it was supposed to be my "relaxed day in Italy" fit but I feel like it just didn't come together how I was envisioning. I think next time I will not use a blue shirt underneath and stick to pairing this knit with linen pants instead of the more-rugged chinos here. open to any other suggestions if people have any.

Order cocktails, get free snacks. I had a Negroni, and it was fantastic.

I picked up this jacket at a tiny little shop in Bellagio. It is from somewhere in Naples, by a brand I've never heard of nor can I find any information for online.

After three nights on Lake Como, we packed up and headed for Milan. We stayed at an airbnb in Milan as well, which was a fantastic 3-room apartment with two balconies near the Stazione Centrale. Closer to the station it got a little sketchier at night but it wasn't too bad a couple blocks away where we were. We went out the first night in the Navigli, which was clearly the coolest part of town with a ton of bars, restaurants, and young people.

The next day we went and saw a few touristy things. I wanted a good photo of the four of us, so I looked around and spotted an Asian guy with a huge SLR on a tripod taking photos of his girlfriend. Jackpot, right? Then he promptly cut our feet off:

Farther up this road, there are a bunch of shops. We popped into one where we were looking at some expensive shoes and dresses for my wife. We opted not to get anything but as we were walking out I thought I saw something that caught my eye, and turning around to tell my wife, I forgot to not keep walking backwards, which resulted in me falling off a step I hadn't seen, landing on a low display table of dresses, and slamming my shoulder into a glass wall. It was at this point that I realized that starting our day with Prosecco in the morning for the fourth day in a row was beginning to take its toll... but at this point, it was our last day before returning home.

Finally, on our way out, a fashion-related warning from the Italian customs police.
