Can we ever stray from SF orthodoxy? I like black. I like it with blue, as I like chocolate with peanut butter. All great things start in heresy.

or you can just put some fluffernutter with that peanut butter and be delicious

Also yes.

Fluffernutter started out as an imitation glue for children's art projects. The more you know.

I thought Marshmallow fluff was a New England thing?  Glad to see it's all over the place

Needles
Everlane
EG
Cdiem

I have no idea what to do with these cuffs. Can I get away with rolling them or should I get them hemmed. I kind of tried to peg them but I don't think it worked. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I think they look fine cuffed, especially with boots, but cuff them cleaner, tighter and a bit lower - look a bit sloppy as is. I also think this (and some of your other fits) would benefit from a neutral colored tee. The lavender shirt introduces a bit of color where it isn't necessarily needed and draws attention from the other (better) pieces of the outfit. The jacket and pants fit great, though, and the boots look fantastic.

Very cool. Thanks. I guess the T looks a bit more lavender in the pics. It's definitely gray with a slight hint of blue. I'm trying to follow the suggestions of not wearing a darker shirt than the jacket.

Will try cuffing cleaner. I was all about cuffs before I started paying the tailor to hem them. Now I'm freaking stacking and cuffing. SF, what have you done to me??

Edit: so the jacket, pants and shoes work. Very cool. Now what color t would help this? White? Tan? I tried a couple of collared shirts and they just felt stuffy.

White.  I might do black there too but the rest of the forum doesn't which may have something to do with complexion, but white is safe.  Uniqlo makes decent $5 white tees that I think are nicer than everlane by a large margin.

Hmm. Okay. I just got a bunch of Everlane in several colors (including white). I like the made in USA factor and the color choices. Will check out the options at Uni.
