I never said anything about 'dressing for your bodytype'. I said that ervell pants are cut with a certain build in mind, and if you don't have that build you don't look great in them. I think that's been generally acknowledged since, I don't know, 2008?

Yes I know, I was disagreeing with a post that didn't involve you - the suggestion that he should avoid oversized clothing because of his height etc.. I brought up your handle as a joke.

Bene, were you trying some sort of Margielaish fit here? Just wanted to ask because it looks a lot like my early stuff

I'd pair some hidden placket shirt and slim boots (doesn't have to be Margiela or anything like that) with those pants and then unbutton to about the 3rd button and bam you got the "miami coke dealer

" down

@ManofKent
 looking cool in the 40s vintage style -- hair and clothes.

Was just going to say mok was channeling some kind of greaser vibe. Minus the leather.

Thanks guys - I've given up sticking to one look, just keep playing with the dressing up box :)
The second fit was more successful - I like the Beams+ jacket but it's a little long in the body for me.

The first fit is just great. Bravo for having the guts to (almost) wear the apron. I can imagine people asking you all night about it and having a really good time with it. But you'd just kind of look like a goofball with an apron if the rest of it wasn't so well-proportioned and interesting, so well done. Too bad you weren't able to wear it.

Nothing wrong with the second fit, but you can see how well-shaped the first one is when you compare the two. Second one looks rather blah by comparison.
Thank you. Very kind words. It would have been the second time out for the apron but was just a tad too hot that late afternoon. First time out was very similar, even dolled up with tie, porkpie hat and all (fit pics in the deep vaults of the How to Roll with EG threat) and it was "Nice vest … (sip on beer) … hold a second ... what the f*ck are you wearing there?". Shout out to @Knight , one of the sharpest EG dressers here, for paving the way on it.

PS I really liked that AlexanderTG fit, probably the best fit he's had so far. The shirt material is a little crisp but I think the pattern makes it work.

I agree. @AlexanderTG , The Villefranche jacket is one of the greatest jackets on the market right now and you wear it really well. I think the shirt is fine, too. Will pm you with a few suggestions on what I would do with the bottom half. I really like the good, healthy debate on it. Very constructive and so far away for the recent debates that had a tendency to derail things.

@penanceroyaltea : Kapital shirt is completely, absolutely dope

@ManofKent = Style Icon

Hmm, I haven't been around for long, but I noticed Hirsch always posts the same pic with some weird comment lol... What's going on? A bet? Pure trolling? (Sincere question)

It's not the same picture. It took me months to notice this.

Cityhunter and lmaozedong - Two great examples of baller tees. Both those fits would be fine with an AA tee, but nowhere near as sexy.

BTW, anyone who runs across one of those Ervell granite tees lmao is wearing should snap buy it. The print and material are exceptional.

I would like to rescind my earlier thumbs-up of @conceptual 4est's slew of awesome pictures, as it was not immediately apparent that activities depicted therein included the consumption of foie gras.
