thanks for the comments and thumbs, guys.

stitchy-- i picked this up from la garconne two years ago, so you'd have a tough time tracking one down now. just keep your eyes open for new schneider drops, as he often does one or two button-up shirts in interesting textured fabrics. also look at frank leder (btw, if anyone wants to sell me one of the heavier leder shirts to fit a size 50, lmk).

+1 on the Leder rec. the materials he uses on his shirts are incredible

I met up with him last night for some **** food at a hole-in-the-wall joint where all the cabbies congregate. It was awesome. We talked about anosmia, Uber, adventuring, mad gains at the gym, and steveoffice.

I'm currently teasing him with the prospect of another meet-up tonight, but I don't know if I'm ready for a second date so soon.

would have taken you up to the sky for dinner and such beautiful view , though honestly that hole in wall was infinitely better food !

Last fall's fabrics weren't nearly as thick as the season previous though :( Was a little disappointing. They were similar to the fabrics he used in spring fabrics this year. Will be interesting to see how this coming fall's goes. Since he uses deadstock fabrics maybe he used up some of his really good finds in earlier seasons :/ I'm hoping that's not the case though.

AW12 fabrics were insane. The brown linen herringbone one is made from this really dense linen fabric that drapes really smoothly. Haven't seen any linen piece like that ever... it doesn't even wrinkle it's so dense and thick. That was the season they did the green loden wool shirt, the blue/white speckled wool shirt and my other favorite the washed natural indigo dyed linen shirt :)

Made in Portugal Canvas/Leather

The secret to correcting my lighting issue is taking pics in the morning, but then I have to deal with looking a lot whiter than I really am. There's no winning with this camera

That Anachronorm shirt is indeed great.

Love that eluther fit. I've been wearing a bunch of vintage print summer shirts but none of them fit as nicely as that anachronorm.

Fit aside, do you have any recommendations for vintage print summer shirts?

Patriotic summertime fit.

Red: Balmain
White: MMM
Blue: Orslow

First time wearing the polo. Hoping the arm holes open up a little bit.

The V on that AA tee is too deep for the blazer. Otherwise it's fine, though I'd have preferred a lighter color palate throughout

You just gotta scour ebay. I have a handful of Reyn Spooner shirts, which are easy to find, but my favorites are the odd labeled American 60's print cotton shirts with button down collars. There are some ebay and etsy sellers that sell ivy stuff and often they'll have them, though they tend to sell fast and at higher prices. I think they get snatched up by designers who then knock them off.
