The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II - Page 168

always thought stitchy would look very good in some eg, like a fatigues + bedford fit or similar silhouette

and I'd wear that lonermatt sweater with a long sleeve mandarin collar shirt or thin tneck in black or charcoal and looser black non-denim pants

+1 on seeing institches in EG. EG can be great for "CM Casual" - some of shoreman's fits are a great example. I buy EG because it can serve two different purposes: I can tuck in my shirt, put on dress shoes and wear it to my business casual day job and with the same wardrobe I can untuck and have fun with it on weekends and nights out.

If you can tuck it in, wouldn't it be a little too long to wear untucked.

Not necessarily, especially with some of EG's higher rise pants.

@in stitches - looks good, buddy. Not sure I'm worthy of inspiring anyone, but I'll take it!

Yeah I agree. The sweater is too feminine. It looks like something a Walmart mom would wear casually.

This. And it's not that a feminine sweater is necessarily bad - I think Brad could wear that sweater just fine - it's that nothing else about Matt is feminine.

Nothing else about Matt is feminine and that is a problem? I think it's vice-versa, actually. Matt's masculinity balances the femininity of the sweater. Put that sweater on a feminine looking guy and there we got a queen.

So what you're saying is that The Rock's manliness would balance out the femininity of a cocktail dress and he would look awesome wearing one?

And what is wrong with a queen?

What you are doing there, buddy, is called 'substituting notions' and 'running to extremes'.

Nothing wrong with a queen..... as long as we're talking about the Queen of England. But, on a serious note, I was not referring to gay people. There are lots of gay people that look like a man, act like a man and dress like a man. And there are queens (and they are not necessarily gay) who just look silly.

are ie pants capable of not looking awesome? what size u wear, pope?

pretty sure I went with a 2? 32 waist and they fit fine, though they've stretched a bit. I think sizing varies a bit depending on fabric/cut tho, I'd get measurements
