it's great to see awesome 'complete' looks here, but part of the thread's function has always been to provide critique.

Tbh I don't think quality is that bad in this thread. Fits are usually less interesting in the summer though so maybe that's it.

Summer fits don't have to be boring!

Absolutely not! I just meant that waywt seems less active during summer, at least that's my impression.

Cool. The more I see those boots the more I like them.

Thanks! I was starting to have second thoughts before they arrived, but I really like them IRL. Very comfy too.

You're absolutely correct. My apologies to those I've offended.

I guess I miss the old guards who have posted fantastic complete looks frequently as inspiration for me.

I commend all those who take risks in their styles even though it may not work all the time. Keep it up folks.

Did you have a chance to check them out at the last NYC trunk show? I thought they looked mediocre and kind of shapeless in the Epaulet product shots but are pretty great (and really comfortable) IRL.

Apparently there's a possibility of milkshake or bone suede jodhpurs in the not-too-distant future. Just sayin.

If I'm going to buy CM approximations of SW&D boots, I'd rather go with Enzo Bonafe or Carmina. Hell even Edward Green makes some nice looking boots.

Can you say why, specifically? And perhaps why the Epaulet thread is on the SWD side of the forum?
