I've noticed with a couple of pieces of Epaulet footwear that they tend to look nicer IRL and in fit pics than they do in product shots. I wouldn't call the chelsea boots sleek in comparison to CP / SLP / SeF, buy they have a nice shape to them that I don't think came through in the promotional photos (where they look kind of shapeless IMO). I wouldn't have picked up a pair if I hadn't seen them in person at the NYC trunk show last fall.

Visited SF over the holiday last weekend. Chinatown had some amazing, tasty snacks.

I'd kill for some Golden Gate Bakery right now.

Love the shirt, those pants look way too tight though

They're FW13 SLP D02s, so they're meant to be rail thin. I know what you mean though. I'm looking for something that's got a bit more room in the top block and a stronger taper, probably Julius knit or panelled denim.

given your build, the pants fit fine and work well with regards to the rest of the fit. sf is just gravitating towards looser fits lately. the majority of sfers is still susceptible to trends.

I'm always down with the tapered/carrot fit. YYPH is king in that area but if you want something slimmer Julius would be okay. Maybe something from Bed JW Ford, Unused, or Auguste Presentation, as well, they'll probably be cheaper both brand new and secondhand as well.

@Cotton Dockers

thanks! Nice look, jacket is great. Dunno if you're familiar with H.R.Remake but it's part of the Blue Blue family focused exclusively on remade stuff, as opposed to the normal blue blue/okura/whatever lines. I think it'd all work pretty well with your style. Prices are reasonable as well

Any suggestions how to make the jacket less boring? (Yes I know, the jeans need to be shorter at the bottom!)
