I wore this last night

Borrelli linen suit
ts(s) vine print shirt

I think I should have worn black shoes and a black belt, I think the browns make a little too pitti for me.

Looks real nice.. Maybe this is just my SW&D mind speaking, but I'd like it better sans belt with the shirt loosely tucked - real casual and comfy

It felt a little uptight to me - like I should have been wearing white canvas sneakers or plain black derbies. I wanted it to me more relaxed.

I agree with the white canvas sneakers and if you want a belt maybe consider a braided one. No Man Walks Alone has some braided belts and canvas slip on right up that alley. I really like my braided belt in navy from Farnese, would like good with that suit. Monotone look for the SW&D aesthetic.

Take a photo elsewhere in your house, and either use a timer or get someone else to take it.

The fit looks fine, except the ripped jeans with box-fresh white sneakers looks incongruous. And the way you've got the jeans tucked beneath the tongues of your shoes makes the jeans look too skinny, or the shoes too big, or both.

The jeans is just too skinny, but those CP's are fine ...just is probably brand new...worn in CP's is a better more grounded look but still white as shit, just as not glaring.

anyways the right style for cp's is to have the jeans tucked beneath the tongues of the shoe...just not with those jeans.

Baron, I think that if you want to make that more "interesting," you consider going full Pitti-casual - cuff the trousers at the ankle, wear slip-ons or loafers, un-button the shirt a bit more, a braided belt, and a giant pocket square. Not sold on the blue shirt w/the blue suit, but that's ok.

Thanks. I wasn't really trying to make it more interesting, more like less interesting. I was trying to make it more casual and relaxed, and I think the tan shoes and belt were more flashy than casual. That's why I was thinking black shoes, or white canvas vans probably would have worked better. I really like that shirt with the suit but I think it would work better if I turned down the volume on the other elements. I'm not that into the casual pocket square. I wear them when I'm wearing a tie, in a casual look my instinct is to go a little more minimal.

Cheers. The CPs are actually a year old, I just like to take care of them. Feels weird neglecting care for a pair of 400$ leather shoes.

The jeans aren't really as skinny as they look, they just drape around the leg and hang out around the back of the leg. Thanks for the input dudes, really appreciate it
