Hehe not the first time I've been asked that, but I'll explain

I tried all different kinds of brands including Rick, KVA, Jil, Raf, NdG, Bottega, Ann, SS etc. and none caught my attention and romanticized wears like Margiela

I feel like Margiela was made for me in a sense since the fits are spot on 99% of the time and my buying experience is always something I look forward because I don't have to wade through a mass of clothing. I just log in and check my favorite Margeila stockists and buy what I like. I am a firm believer that one brand is the way to go. Some Margiela seasons in particular feel like they were made for me, loved everything about them. I don't get that feeling from any other designer, In short I have zero interest in other designers since I have a good thing going that still makes me excited every season

The only other brand that is a distant second is Orlebar Brown and thats just cause Margiela doesn't do swimwear. Saint Laurent is about 1% of my wardrobe
Those brands you listed aren't close to MMM's style.

The style you are specifically looking for is the modern, simple and sleek.

However I won't suggest others because it seems that you have found your own beliefs that one brand is the way to go (people like you specifically)

I am not all about brand, that comes 2nd for me. I spread out and see what they have to offer in terms of looks, fit and price. I tend to look for higher end first since (you get what you pay for) then I build my way down if nothing is really capturing my attention.

I like versatility of the brands and always keep my mind open on options. Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavor. smile.gif

When I was trying to put together fits with the above mentioned brands I felt like it was a huge hassle attempting to mix different brands into a good fit (and I was spending much more in the process). I commend my fellow SFers who do it well because I could not. Margiela to me requires more Margiela. I'm sure there might be some cool brands out there to consider, but why fix whats not broken man cool.gif

Love seeing screen shots of other peoples bookmarks.  Atleast you don't need to alphabetize since all you need are M's lol

What I'm most confused about is how that in any way relates to what I wrote, seeing how it's basically everything I want rjb to avoid laugh.gif

Coat is awesome, love it with the relaxed trousers and the Stan Smiths.

Ps your lamp shade is crooked

Yea, I bought the lamp at a thrift shop, and the shade at a different shop. The shade's ring doesn't fit around the lamp's stem. I tried to jerry-rig it with some string and cardboard, but it's not working.

That's the story of my wonky lampshade. Riveting.

Of course, don't fix what's broken. Something might surprise u from Lanvin, Balacengia, Dior, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Prada, Armani maybe?

I like exploring options, that's one of the fun parts of finding what to buy and wear.
