@ThaiToast How is the waistband constructed on those trousers? Standard or is it a draw string maybe? Really like them.

Thanks! The left side of the trousers has a bit of elastic sewn to the waistband with buttonholes in the elastic, so you can button the left side tighter if you'd like. Otherwise it's standard construction, although the right side is pleated and the left side is flat front and cinched, and they sit a bit asymmetrically.

Not typically for double breasted blazers but it looks good here

I've been collecting clothes for over 4 decades and a lot of the stuff I wear were samples from the companies I worked for or from friends companies;many pieces are actually women's wear (the cashmere cardi in this post) The db blazer is a private label import from a now defunct nyc boutique. NYC used to have many small, upscale stores specializing in,the then new,European fashion. Sadly, they're all gone now.

Common People had a promising season, produced an okay follow up Summer collection, didn't produce trousers for the next winter season then seemed to go disastrously bland before disappearing. I'm not sure Kestin Hare's new venture will do much better.

I think i have a winter uniform I'm satisfied with. This coat, grey or off-white tops; light blue jeans or navy pants. Timbs if it snows, or white sneakers.
