Usually an MC guy. Thought I'd venture over here and post a fit.

In retrospect I think the jawns would have looked better unrolled.
Nice fit. Agree the jeans should be rolled more cleanly or not at all.

One more minor thing: FOR THE LAST GODDAMNED TIME "JAWNS" does not mean "JEANS." You could indeed say "Let those jawnz stack fam" but you could also say "That button leather jawn is fire" about your jacket.

I think your outfit is too casual for those shoes
Disagree. Weathered matte wingtips are perfect here.

MP, that flowchart is awesome.

Without fail, I always start with more and end up with less.

Same here. Usually when I first think up the combination of things I want to wear together there's like 500 items/layers. By the time I'm done it's only two or three.

Thanks for the kind words. I promise not to misuse "jawns" again. And yes, I felt the shoes went well with the jacket. They are certainly not suitable for conservative business dress.

I would however like to imagine that drew lives in a temple of faded APC denim.

When I think of wingtips I think of business casual, the fit you had there looked more like a worker type fit I think boots would have looked better. The way your wingtips are laced, the tiny perforations, the sharp looking toe box is a more formal look, pairing that with your fit just doesn't seem right to me ::kanye shrug::

p sure wingtips categorically began as "country shoes" (something about the brogues allowing water to drain?) and have only relatively recently been thought of as "dress" shoes, although I could be wrong.

Maybe if he picked a pair with a rounder toe, bigger perforations and had cross lacing it would look better

Everything I say is an opinion, as well as anyone else on this forum, so don't try to demonize me and say I'm trying to set rules. I was just elaborating on my initial post for why I didn't think it fit. No need for all of that

@nicelynice Any reason in particular you chose that city? I would think most people choose shanghai or beijing as their destination in China.

Not sure if it's the same when we post over there, but "Usually an MC guy" almost never needs to be said. You've hit every box on the business casual checklist.
