There is something sinister about that last fit.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind.

Received a ToJ MA-1 I bought on Grailed today. Body length is longer than I anticipated. I want to have the length tailored but I think it's either impossible or expensive to alter.

I love slouchy bombers, but that looks way too big on you

Workout clothes... and a Kijima Takayuki khaki wool workcap (just love the shape of this cap and wanted to show it.)

doubt it'll improve things. a tight t is gonna match up w/ the jeans to create a bodysuit.

thanks for the thumbs, guys.

@Benesyed i love the colors and feel of my schneider scarves, but their length and overall bulk can make them a real hassle to wear. have you been wearing yours outside your coat like that?

@gettoasty top half looks very solid. i think some loose wool trousers or a different cut of jeans would look better for the bottom half, though. between the knee bagging, the slimness at the calves, and the lack of break, this pair doesn't complement the rest of your fit. fwiw, i recently picked up some levis 501s and have really liked them. but i cuff them to help keep the silhouette clean, which might not work as well with those sleek boots you're wearing here.

Lemaire jacket
Lemaire scarf
Isaora t-shirt
Levis
Lemaire boots

Some more here

This is my ideal outfit for everyday, and I can swap out the inner with a nice thick cream or white turtleneck and be just fine. Maybe a thick oxford, too. The jeans could have a little more of a straight fit but between finding the right Lemaire denim and everything else too expensive or hard wearing (I'm not all that into raw denim now) to my liking, these Levi's really hit the sweet spot. They are really soft but still have that dark indigo color. If they come out with an off-white pair that would be awesome. FWIW the photo was taken at an angle pointing up so the proportions are a little off I think.

Pretty much yeah, thats why i like coats that can be buttoned up high, then i just loop the scarf around my neck. Otherwise sometimes i just tuck each free arm of the scarf off to a side.

I'll try out some levi's 501. The current jeans are really not that slim, not to the point of wrapping around my legs but I get you. Lemaire has a carrot shaped as well as straight fit denim, which I have been seeking out the later. Something like a 19cm with minimal break would be awesome. The great thing about these current 522 is the high rise, zipper feels so much long to undo when making a pit stop. I feel you about the wool pants, I have about 6 or 7 pairs of Lemaire trousers I've yet to find time and have altered frown.gif

@lmaozedong I like what you did with your hair. What do you call it? Looks clean and sharp.

Levis has a new 501 cut called the 501ct by the way.  If u like the taper of the 522, you might like the 501 ct which also have a hard taper below but with the 501 top block
